The people of Live Oak and surrounding communities would like to see the return of a local landmark. The Jolly Rooster, which once graced a building top at the intersection of this formerly "One Stop Light Town" is dearly missed.
Why is this important?
The Jolly Rooster was a Live Oak icon for many years. He stood proudly on a building located at the intersection of our towns only stoplight. You could give directions to out of towners based solely on their proximity to this colossal Cockalorum. Then he disappeared..... We want him back!
