Newark residents have for years have looked forward to the Circus coming to town, and now we are poised to lose this opportunity. We were told that Universoul Circus will not be hosted by Newark this year, due to unforeseen circumstance. "This show is a highly interactive combination of circus arts, theater, and music that spans genres including Pop, Classic R&B, Latin, Hip Hop, Jazz and Gospel. It embraces and celebrates the unique and familiar aspects of pop culture globally by bringing them center stage with a cast of international performers. UniverSoul Circus is rated as one of the top three circuses in America." We are calling for Newarkers to stand for children, we have lost so very many recreation programs because we sat idled....please sign this petiton and bring a smile to a child.

Why is this important?
Newark residents have been told that the Universoul Circus will not be coming to town. We have contacted the owners and have been informed that do to unforeseen circumstance Newark is not one of their destinations. We ask that you sign if you love the look in your child eyes as she watches a Circus that mirrors them. Our children deserve premiere entertaining and we ask Universoul Circus and the City of Newark to rethink this decision.
