Broadcast Freedom of Speech Bill
A bill to reinforce the original FCC rules which require those who obtain free broadcast licenses, from the people of the USA, be required to operate "in the public interest", also to give "free equal time" to opposing opinions. That the number of stations owned by one set of financial interests in any one market be limited to one. And that the total in the United States owned by any financial group be limited to 12. That no financial entity, owned more than 5% by foreign holders, be allowed to operate stations or networks.
That "newscasts" not contain political messages.

Why is this important?
I was head of a large media company starting in 1955 and am shocked at the disregard of the original intent of the Federal Communications laws. Big money now controls the basic platform of free speech in America.
