Bust the Filibuster!
The Senate shall modify the rules to invoke cloture to end debate on an issue and end obstruction to allow a vote of a simple majority.
Why is this important?
The filibuster is a parliamentary procedure that allows one person to delay and or eventually prevent a vote on an issue unless 60% of the Senate votes yea to end debate and vote. Its time has come and gone and it needs to be gone. It is evident that its use is more political than practical especially now since no Senator even filibusters on the floor of the senate and actually talks about a bill. Only a mention of filibuster stops all movement. Let's get rid of it. Vote here before that is gone too.
