California is issuing Real ID drivers licenses but to get one you must provide copies of certified birth certificate or passport even if vet provided such proof to VA! Why? Why make vets delay, pay extra for verification already proved to VA OR be subject to ICE?
Why is this important?
As a vet, I have proved my citizenship, why make vets pay, wait or only able to get a non-citizen? drivers license in California?
