A retiree organization that cuts retiree benefits for its own employees? You can't make this kind of hypocrisy up:

Why is this important?
California State Retirees is a non-profit organization that was part of the group that originally fought to establish retiree healthcare for thousands of state employees.
And yet now CSR is fighting against providing that same benefit for its own employees.
The employees of California State Retirees and affiliates have been working without a contract for 19 months.
At the bargaining table against its own employees, CSR and its affiliates have refused to consider any proposal that includes retiree healthcare for any new employees, even though it wouldn't cost them a penny for at least a decade.
The employees of California State Retirees fight every day for their members' right to retiree healthcare and yet they are told that they do not deserve that same right.
Sign our petition and call on the California State Retirees to bargain in good faith and fight FOR its employees, not against them!
