When an entire body of the House or Senate (from either side) votes "No" on an issue it it obvious that there is no critical thinking involved. Just knee jerk reaction. This petition is for the voters to keep both the House and the Senate accountable for the time they spend in Congress and to help end the mindless gridlock which wastes taxpayer dollars and keeps our government broken.
Why is this important?
An examination of the House and Senate voting record for the past-too-many years would be revealing. The individuals we HIRE to represent us seem to have checked their "thought process" at the door. Both sides react like two year olds saying "NO" loudly just because the other side poses an idea. United We Stand has become a bumper-sticker.. A joke.
