CAMERAS IN ALL MRDD FACILITIES AND GROUP HOMES

My son Marquis has autism! He is currently committed to an state of ohio icf/mr facility! He has been repeatedly assaulted, beaten, neglected, abused and restrained. Sometimes he is tied to a bed! His mother actually witnessed and audiotaped Marquis being punched in the chest by a state worker. His new clothes have been lost, stolen, ripped and cut up by staff. The nurse used dirty playdough for "earplugs". Marquis is not the only resident who has suffered abuse in these places! Cameras are needed in all MRDD facilities and groups homes and Marquis needs to be release for his safety and well-being!

Why is this important?

Due to the constant abuse and neglect of disabled people in these facilities and witnessing and audiotaping an actual attack and assault on my son (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gGJFHh9NcV4),
cameras need to be installed immediately in these facilities and homes to protect the constitutional and humane rights of disabled people and to catch, remove and punish those who abused them!
