Campaign finance amendment
Stop the ability of large corporation to disproportionally influence political discourse during an election season. Create a constitutional amendment limiting all political campaign financing to individual citizen donations with a cap limit set by Congress. If corporations are considered "individuals" with the right of free speech during election seasons then they should be limited to the same contribution limits all private individuals are in this country.
Why is this important?
Tired of the disproportionate voice of wealthy secret corporate and individual campagin donors? What about the flood of advertizements and robo calls during election season? The Supreme Court has opened a Pandora’s Box of foreign and domestic corporate money attempting to disproportionately influence the political discourse in this country. This allows corporate CEOs to bypass the donation limits set on average citizens during election season.
