We want all political campaigns funded by a set amount taken from each citizen's taxes - the same amount for each person, rich or poor. We want all outside money out of campaigns. We want our government indebted to the citizens not corporations or lobbyists.
Why is this important?
It is about giving elections back to citizens. All corporate money should be out of politics. Campaigns should be financed through equal, small amounts added to every personal income tax and money should be distributed to candidates based on the number of citizens in their district.
