We the people call for Public Financing of all political campaigns in the United States. This would take money out of the race for public office allowing candidates to campaign on their ideas and vision for us rather than cater to anyone or thing that can get them money.
Why is this important?
Big Money is drowning out the real issues that need to be considered in choosing the best representatives in the election season. Public financing of all campaigns from the city councilor to the president of the US is the only way to keep money out of politics. Candidates should be only receiving the public funds and any private funds should disqualify the candidate.
