The length of the national and state elections campaigns shall be limited to 3 - 6 months instead of the two years, and there shall be a limit on the amount of money that can be spent.

Advertising should be limited to messages by the candidates themselves about what they plan to do and how they will do it. The American people do not want, and should not have to listen to mean spirited and untruthful or twisted messages sent to the media - who will run anything they are paid to run with no regard for the truth. -

Why is this important?

The amount of money spent and the length of time the campaign was conducted is embaarassing.
