We believe it is time to hold the Congress whom we elected, and whom we pay, to account. They are not doing their jobs, or looking out for the American people at all.
We believe it is time that they lived like so many of us in the real-world United States of America do, so we will not pay their life-long pension, health insurance, or vacation benefits anymore.
Why is this important?
My house is falling apart and my taxes are too high to afford, even though my husband and I both work. I have a friend who doesn't have health insurance and is worried daily about getting sick.
We need to stand up to big money, and the politicians who are holding the government ransom, and get back to what this country is about--the people.
