Cancel the first time homebuyer's tax credit payback of 2008

This was and remains an unfair "credit" payback for thousands who also lost their jobs (as I did), homes, insurances and means of paying back this "credit", I now pay back $600/year for something that the same "credit" offered in 2009/2010 consumers did not have to re-pay, we were guinnea pigs for the real estate market, the government knew we were headed into a recession, had I known I never would have taken it.
Please help and sign this petition, yes we agreed to pay this back however through no fault of our own we lost just as much as everyone else did in the following years.
