Caribbean's/West Indian's Community

The Caribbean’s/West Indians American lives, work and vote in this country every day, but we are recognize for who we are. Instead we are label as African American and we are not. We would like to see all Caribbean’s/West Indians American be identify simple as who we are. We are a very proud people hard working people who contribute to the American economic, therefore we should be recognize as who we are.
We believe that the census reporting should be revise to include Caribbean’s or west Indian’s American so that all of us that migrated from any part of the Caribbean or from any part of the West Indians can add value to the census reporting.
Please join us in asking the government to identify us as whom we are “Caribbean’s American or West Indian’s American” as they do the Jewish America, Arab American, Asian American or Pacific Islanders by signing this petition.

Why is this important?

The Caribbean’s/West Indian’s Americans want to be identifying as who we are. We migrate from our country to the USA to make a better life for ourselves and our children. Our children as well as ourselves service this country in many composites and the country should know that the Caribbean’s or West Indian’s Americans are proud to be American and are willing to defend this country and do play an important role in this country.
