Carnival Cruise Line: Take a Stand Against Discriminatory Regulations Aimed at Cuban-Born Americans
Dear Mr. Del Rio,
The Cuban community all over the world is outraged by the blatant and ambiguous discriminatory regulations imposed by the Castros and implemented by your cruise line. This is something that will have a powerful financial impact on your cruise line by detrimentally affecting the Goodwill of Cuban-Americans all over the world. There are many (Cubans and non-Cubans) already stating that they will ban the use of Carnival Cruise lines for acceding to this discrimination.
You, of all people, Mr. Del Rio, being a Cuban-born citizen should deeply understand the disgruntled Cuban community in this regard.
We urge you to use your substantial influence to help change this policy as our numbers are significant and not to be ignored. "Cuban Americans" (Spanish: Cubanoamericanos) are Americans who trace their ancestry to Cuba. Cuban Americans are the third largest Latino group in the United States and the largest Latino group of European ancestry (predominantly Spanish) as a percentage but not in numbers."
As the third largest latino international community, we put forth this petition to urge Carnival Cruise Lines to negotiate aggressively with the Cuban government who stands to gain the most from the profits generated by this new tourism.
Fight for your people Mr. Del Rio.

Why is this important?
Corporations should not allow foreign entities to dictate morally and legally wrong discriminatory regulations targeting a specific group of people. This "regulation" prohibits only Cuban-born Cuban Americans from traveling via cruise ship to Cuba.
