Change laws for death in moving violation.

Change the laws in Michigan for someone that causes death in moving violations.

Why is this important?

On Oct. 9, 2011, a crash on U.S. 12, east of Bell Road in Niles, MI. claimed the lives of 1-year-old Devin Stone; his father, Curtis Stone, 50, the driver of the family's car; the child's mother, Stacey Garza, 35; and the baby's grandmother, Kathleen Marks, 57. Cecilia Cheney, 44, received 90 days in jail and was ordered to pay $800 in fines and costs based on her earlier no-contest plea to four counts of moving violation causing death. This accident was the result of Mrs. Cheney taking her eyes off the road. She looked down at her purse on the passenger's seat, which indicated she also may have reached to grab the purse or retrieve something. She was also driving 67 MPH in a 55 MPH zone. This woman took four innocent lives all the result of her carelessness and all she received was an $800.00 fine and 90 days in jail.......what do these innocent families now get to suffer through without their loved ones? These laws need to be changed for Michigan, this isn't justice at all!!!!!!
