Change Maryland's State Song

"Maryland, My Maryland" was written in 1861 to urge Marylanders to fight with the Confederacy. It is long past time for Marylanders to choose a new song to represent our state.

Why is this important?

Delegate Karen Lewis Young, of Frederick, has proposed a bill to change the state song of Maryland. Let us join with Delegate Young to demand that our state no longer endorse Confederate propaganda.
