An election campaign should take place three months before the election and fair, equal monies should be given to all who are running.
Why is this important?
I was appalled by the amount of money spent by all candidates which could be used to reduce our deficit and, more important, help all our needed citizens and educational facilities.
I also cannot see the campaign running for over a year. I believe that 3 months would be quite adequate and our candidates could continue doing their jobs instead of constant traveling away from their jobs.
