Honoring the theft of land owned by the Cherokee is wrong and racist.
Why is this important?
As part Cherokee it makes me sick that the racist connotations of the Sooner brand isn't recognized. The stealing of the land that the Cherokee we're already forced on is wrong and in now way should it be honored by the name Sooners.
