Ask congress to consider an on-line voting process; going to the polls is an out-of-date, and a process that most people don't have time for.
Why is this important?
I am a teacher at an elementary school that serves as a voting site. I see voters throughout each voting day. Two things are consistently true about the voters; there aren't very many of them, and they are typically older, retired people who have time to vote. Even though voting may be important to younger and middle-aged people, having to go to a voting site can be difficult or impossible for the millions of people who have busy families and who work long hours to make ends meet. In this day and age, on-line voting is extremely important in order for there to be fair elections. It is time to change our 200-year old voting process.
