Charge US President Donald Trump with Crimes Against Humanity
President Trump belongs on Trial at the Hague for his kidnapping of would-be immigrant children at the US Border, with no plan in place to ever reunite them with their families.
While the US is not a State Party to the ICC, charges may still be brought if recommended by the United Nations Security Council.
We implore the current President of the UNSC, Sweden, to act in the name of humanity and justice for these families, and recommend to the ICC that charges be brought against US President Donald Trump and his Departments of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and Customs and Border Protection for these practices.
Crimes against humanity as recognized by the ICC can be committed during times of peace or war. The events are either part of a government policy or of a widespread practice of atrocities tolerated or condoned by a government, including but not limited to... murder, massacres, dehumanization, ethnic cleansing, deportations, state terrorism or state sponsoring of terrorism, kidnappings and forced disappearances, unjust imprisonment, enslavement, torture, rape, political repression, racial discrimination, religious persecution, as well as other human rights abuses.

I'm starting this petition because I can't sit by and do nothing while our sitting President commits crimes. It goes against everything the US has always stood for in the world. The letters from the mothers who had their children taken are just heartbreaking and the thought that one of the most powerful leaders of the free world is responsible is reprehensible to me. Someone has to stop him.
