Why is this important?
Chicago faces multitudes of glaring issues that need to be solved. But before we can address any of them, we need to make sure our elected leaders prioritize the city's best interests over their personal bank accounts.
It's time all mayoral candidates release their complete tax returns — not just their 1040 form cover sheets — so we can see what their financial interests are, how they made their money, what their potential conflicts of interests are.
