Child Support Enforcement

"It takes a village to raise a child". Although that concept has many advantages when raising children, ultimately, the "parents" are responsible for "their" childs' successes/failures.

Why is this important?

The current child support laws should be amended. The custodial parent should have the same financial responsibility as the noncustodial parent regardless of where the child "physically" resides, or how much more or less the income of one parent is compared to the other. Custiodial parents should have to face the same possibility of imprisonment, seize of properties, and license revocation (etc) as a consequence of non payment of support. Equal opportunity by laws should not be limited to the work place, gender specification, or public service. It should be applied to every area in the responsibility of parenting.
