We are asking that employers be required by law to institute a new hire training program for employees that are going to be full time long term employees. That the starting wage be specified as $12.50 per hour and increased every 90 days by $2.50 per hour until trainey reaches a $25.00 per and is granted full time status. Schedule of training must be submitted to Bureau of Labor and Industry for approval.
Why is this important?
Introduce an employment law regulating the hiring of new employees that require training. This would allow employers to hire at a lower wage to be increased incrementally to full wages as training is completed.
