Chronic Pain is a real issue! Opiates Aren't causing the deaths of people...The people Who "CHOOSE to stick a needle in their arms to get high on heroin are the ones who are dying....
Why is this important?
Because I feel like Chronic Pain sufferers like Myself are going to end up living in severe Pain for the rest of our lives. I have had Chronic Pain most of My life. I am a 57-year-old female Who was born with Congenital Scoliosis that affects My neck, back, and legs. I am never pain-free, but where would I be without the pain meds? This is a question that I hope is not answered for Me by Our State Representatives..... I speak for the people who are Chronic Pain sufferers that have no idea how they will function on a daily basis without pain medication. Please take into consideration that not all people who take Pain Medication are Drug Abusers. If You really think about it, Saying Opioids Kill Is liken to Saying Guns Kill!
