Cincinnati City Council

"The City of Cincinnati has a 40.8 million deficit. Again, this is a sustained deficit until 2016. The deficit does not include the underfunding of the pension by 53 million per year. Casino money should be used to close the deficit NOT the streetcar or any other special project, The bad news is City worker jobs are on the line. Again, the CASINO money in 2013-2016 should be used to balance the budget. The casino revenue in 2013 is estimated at 13 million. If the revenue is 8 million or 20 million it should be used to close the deficit. Please do NOT write what are my financial ideas when you are reading specific recommendation! You might want the CASINO money to be used for the streetcar but I do not share that view. Our team put the Streetcar on the ballot twice with a message that WE CAN NOT AFFORD! Maybe, now with a sustained 40,8 million dollar deficit FB friends you will agree with our team that collected 30,000 signatures twice to STOP. City worker jobs are in jeopardy.

Why is this important?

The City Council has the mindset that they are not employed by the citizens of Cincinnati. They give us promises to get elected and forget about us once they get the job. Our community are crumbling and they support Private investors and their interest. If you want City Council to work for the Citizens that employed them please sign.
