Citizens Against Fracking in Alabama
Concerned Citizens of Alabama appeal to Governor Robert Bentley to oppose any new Hydraulic Fracturing for oil and gas Permits through the Alabama Oil and Gas Board pending Public Notice, Education and the proper Comment Periods have been established. Alabama has already become the dumping ground for toxic wastes and garbage from other states and foreign countries. The fracking industry has the potential to destroy vital groundwater sources and increase the risk to the health and welfare of Alabama citizens.

Alabama's national and state parks are now a target of the oil and gas industry. Hydraulic Fracture or "Fracking" poses a real threat to private property values and clean drinking water sources.
