"We The People" Amendment to the Constitution

Proposed Amendment: Citizens of the United States of America are defined as those human beings born in the United States, or naturalized under current law, to human parents. Defined as such, only Citizens of the Untied States are guaranteed full protection of the enjoyment of the full rights and privileges established by the Constitution of the United States and its Amendments. This Amendment supersedes laws, codes, or regulations only in cases where said laws, codes, or regulations presume non-citizens enjoy equal or better standing to citizens as herein defined. Existing laws continue in force unless they are successfully challenged by Citizens in courts of law on the basis of this amendment.

Why is this important?

The Constitution of the United States starts with "We The People." The PEOPLE have been replaced by the influence of money. This petition seeks to affirm the primacy of individual voters, born human to human parents over entities born of legal standing. Though there are many examples, large and small, the clearest indication of the need for this is the Supreme Court's ruling in Citizens United. Perhaps, if we reaffirm the primacy of the voter in our rights, that Congress can then work to reform our institutions.
