City Council: Modify Rudin Proposal for St. Vincent's Redevelopment
Concerned residents of the West Village want our representatives to require the following changes to the Rudin Organization plan for redevelopment of St. Vincent's East Campus:
* DO NOT DEMOLISH THE REISS BUILDING - RENOVATE INSTEAD
* NO NEW GARAGE+BUILDING REPLACING REISS
* NO RETAIL DEVELOPMENT+SIGNAGE ON WEST 12TH ST
These changes do not impede the development of the property - But not requiring them puts our health and safety at risk and will fundamentally change the nature of our neighborhood.
WE CALL FOR SPEAKER QUINN AND THE CITY COUNCIL TO BE RESPONSIVE TO OUR COMMUNITY

Why is this important?
Concerned residents of the West Village are asking our representatives to do their jobs and represent the best interests of their constituents - rather than just the interests of a well-connected and funded developer.
