City of Hudson residents for inclusion
As a resident of the city of Hudson, I support inclusion.
The city leaders need to affirm that Hudson is a city that welcomes all. Inclusion is embraced by forward looking communities and companies. It's good for business, culture, the community and for our future.
It is sometimes hard to admit when we have a problem. We live here because we love it here. Yet we see growing evidence that hate does show itself here in our beautiful city. Taking an affirmative position on inclusion signals that Hudson is a place that welcomes all.
By signing this petition, I ask that my representatives take action to signal that Hudson is a welcome place for people of all religion, ability, and orientation. Hudson is an inclusive community.

Why is this important?
A divisive group, consisting primarily of people from outside of Hudson, have formed "The Citizens for St. Croix Valley". They promote messages that do not represent the spirit of the residents of Hudson. This group fosters fear of Muslims, GLBT people, have mischaracterized educational programs to promote learning about world religions as promoting Sharia law and in general, encourage hate of "others".
