If those who we elect to manage our business - manage us into bankruptcy and inequality and suffering - should they receive rewards of perks and benefits and overly-generous retirement packages for such terrible work?
Why is this important?
If the "people's business" of this nation is being attended to with such a lack of talent and ability - with such an arrogance and disrespect towards the TRUE EMPLOYERS of these public servants - then there should be no assumption of entitlement by these incompetent "slackers" that they have some sort of a "retirement rainbow" waiting for them at the end of their useless and ineffectual time in office. If the nation has been managed into want and shortage and deprivation - then, the managers should be expected to share in the spoils.
