Clean up and keep clean Manassas,VA.
Prince William Parkway, Interstate 66, Ballsford Road, Ashton Avenue, Coverstone Drive, and 234 Business are full of hundreds of plastic and paper bags. Many vehicles and pedestrians dump empty beverage bottles on the above roads. Rubbish gets trapped on trees, bushes, road ditches, grass, and sidewalks. Clean up needs to be done at least once a month, and twelve months a year. Private land owners, county cleaning crews, local schools, and churches need to get involved once a month to clean up. In addition, local stores could ban plastic bags and bottles. It takes one thousand years for a single shopping bag to decompose, and there are thousands of these bags on the mentioned roads.
Why is this important?
I live in Manassas,VA, and see this rubbish every day. Rubbish turns our town into a ghetto.
