Clear Channel - Remove Rush Limbaugh from the Public Airwaves

Mr. Hogan:

The latest scandal involving Rush Limbaugh's misogynistic insults directed toward a young woman who had testified before Congress are only the latest in a long history of inflammatory comments he has made on your stations, and the public's airwaves. From his suggestion that Michael J. Fox was "faking" Parkinson's Disease to "Barack the Magic Negro" to his recent "slut" and "prostitute" slander, Mr. Limbaugh has displayed breathtaking irresponsibility again and again. His comments are intended to fan the flames of division in our country, and to do so using the public airwaves.

We respectfully express our wish that you no longer air Mr. Limbaugh's program on Clear Channel owned stations, and that you do this as one of the chief caretakers of a public trust.

Why is this important?

The Rush Limbaugh Show is syndicated by Premiere Networks, Inc., part of Texas-based Clear Channel Communications. Clear Channel is also the largest owner (850 stations) of full power AM and FM stations in the country. Sign this petition demanding that Clear Channels stations immediately discontinue the broadcast of Rush Limbaugh's misogynistic, racist, homophobic, hate-mongering program.
