Clemency for Nathan Dunlap
Nathan Dunlap is scheduled to be executed in Colorado the week of August 18, 2013 unless Governor Hickenlooper grants him clemency. In the alternative he will serve life in prison with no parole. No one has been executed in Colorado since 1997. All three inmates currently on death row in Colorado were sentenced by the same court in Arapahoe County. It is time to end a barbaric practice of killing under the guise of demonstrating that killing is wrong. If killing is wrong for individuals, it is also wrong for the People of Colorado, and its brewmaster Governor.

Nathan Dunlap is scheduled to be executed in Colorado the week of Aug 18, 2013. The death penalty is rarely used [5%] in cases where it would be allowed. Instead execution is used to scare any pleading prisoner into a stiffer sentence .
