We demand action from our elected officials to regulate greenhouse gases, to abide by the Paris Agreement, and to take strong decisive action to protect our planet for the sake of our grandchildren.
Why is this important?
As a scientist, I know climate change is real and dangerous. As a grandmother, I want to leave a habitable planet for my grandchild. Most scientific models predict that this planet will be nearly uninhabitable by the end of this century if we do not take very strong immediate action to limit the gases that cause the warming effect that is now occurring and accelerating.
