Legislate a carbon tax on all oil, gas and coal sold in this country to reflect the costs to our enviroment and to provide an incentive to seek alternatives.
Why is this important?
Climate change. The costs of energy we consume does not properly reflect the costs to our land, water and air. There should be a carbon tax on the sources of energy: coal, oil, gas which damage our enviroment the most.
