Climate Change and Human Overpopulation

There is nearly total concensus (>99%)and concern among scientists that climate change has been, and continues to be, a planetary threat to the continuing existence of nearly all life forms, and the situation is worsening every day. Human overpopulation is rapid consuming planetary resources, and inundating the earth with toxic waste & various deadly contaminants. Aren't these THE MOST SIGNIFICANT PROBLEMS facing humanity? What will ALL candidates (not just the Presidential candidates) do to address overpopulation and these urgent and worsening problems?

Why is this important?

Our planet is dying. Only a few rich and powerful elite will be allowed to shelter in the underground bases or in off-world colonies yet to be possibly created. What happens to the rest of Earth's lifeforms?
