The Green New Deal is a national economic mobilization plan much like Roosevelt's "New Deal" and is capable of making the U.S. economy “carbon neutral” while promoting economic and environmental justice and equality.
Please make the "Green New Deal" a priority of the 116th Congress.
Why is this important?
The Green New Deal may be our last chance tackle what is certainly the most important challenge facing humankind, climate change. According to the IPCC report, we have a mere 12 years to cut fossil fuel emissions by a head-spinning 45 percent. We must treat climate change as a crisis situation.
