Mike Rogers, your constituents demand that Guantanamo prison in Cuba be closed immediately. We support President Obama's call for it to be closed immediately. We support the rights of all human beings to a fair trial and due process of law and do not support the use of torture in any form.
Why is this important?
Mike Rogers, the 8th district congressman from Michigan wants to keep Guantanamo open. President Obama has said that it is congress which is blocking his ability to close the prison down. We say to Mike Rogers that as his constituents we want Guantanamo shut down immediately.
