Close Guantanamo Immediately
Close the Guantanamo Bay detention centers immediately. We will not allow human rights violations to be committed in our name.
Why is this important?
Human rights violations are being committed at the Guantanamo Bay detention centers. This fact is contrary to the ideals that have made America great, and represent a shameful chapter in our country's history. We demand that the illegal, unjust, and downright disgusting practices of torture and indefinite detention without trial be halted immediately. There is an honorable way to defend ourselves from our enemies, but this is not it. We call on the White House and the Congress of the United States to take any and all necessary steps to close the Guantanamo Bay detention centers NOW.
