The Pacific Ocean is becoming a dead zone. Marine mammals are dying from radiation exposure and contamination of many fish species is reaching 90%. The sardine industry in British Columbia shutdown this season without catching a single fish.
The Reactor #4 cooling pool is 30 meters above ground. It has sunk 31 inches and is listing. If it collapses from another earthquake, the fuel rods will be exposed to air and will burn for 50 years. The atmosphere and oceans will be poisoned for centuries. Infants and children will suffer the most from our complacency.
Why is this important?
.If the fuel rods at Fukushima catch fire, Japan and the American West Coast will require evacuation. That will only be the start of our misery.
