By not closing the Medicaid Gap in the State of Idaho, the Republican-dominated State Legislature has essentially issued a "death sentence " to some 700 citizens of the Gem State. Idahoans deserve better.
Why is this important?
Because people I know are not able to afford health insurance and are penalized on their Federal taxes and they fall into the hole where they do not qualify for Medicaid. These are good, hard-working people who are at risk in case of illness.
