I the undersigned hereby petition that you stop allowing digital content providers to remotely disable fast forward functionality of Comcast Customers Digital set top Converters;
Inasmuch as True convenience for the OnDemand consumer means allowing them to: watch what they want (content choice), at the time they want (time-shifting), wherever they want (place-shifting), on the device of their choosing (platform-shifting), with or without advertising (Fast forward to skip or not) and often; simultaneously in conjunction with other activities (multi-tasking).
Why is this important?
One of the great joys of using OnDemand recorded shows used to be the ability to fast forward through advertising at will. Now Comcast is allowing more and more networks to disable the fast forward functions of Customers set top digital receivers.
