Comcast: Stop Fighting Philadelphians' Rights to Paid Sick Days!
Our workers and families are under attack. Comcast: stop fighting Philadelphia City Council's bill to extend paid sick days to thousands of Philadelphians. Every worker deserves sick days for themselves and their families.
Why is this important?
Two out of every five Philadelphians have no paid sick days off -- meaning when they are sick they can't stay home, or can't stay home to take care of sick family members. Philly's City Council tried to pass a bill last year to make sure everyone gets paid sick days, but Comcast spent tens of thousands of dollars to defeat it. The bill is back on the table, and together, we must tell Comcast to stop fighting our rights to paid sick days.
