I urge you to ensure the retirement and decommissioning of Nevada's coal-fired power plants and demand the building of new clean energy facilities as directed in our energy laws, passed during the 77th Nevada Legislature.
Why is this important?
Next week, the Public Utilities Commission Nevada (PUCN) is hearing from the public on the merger of Mid American and NV Energy. We need to make sure the PUCN knows that Nevadans support cleaning Nevada's air by decommissioning our remaining coal fired power plants and making investments now to build Nevada's clean energy economy.
