The Gun and Ammo Lobbyists are forced to show how much, and to whom, they give their money and influence.
This approach needs to be expanded to all special interest groups. So much is hidden from us regarding how and why decisions are made. We need a more transparent government at all levels
Why is this important?
There are so many issues affecting this country but two stand out...
a) the gun control issue..we can have common sense about the First Amendment (no yelling fire in a movie theatre)-Freedom of Speech---but no compromise about the 2nd?
b) the amount of money, supplied by special interests, to both sides of the political arena, make us a highly corrupt system. We talk about being a Democracy but, in fact, we are more concerned with capital than with freedom
