Refuse to take money from the NRA and start drafting or cosponsoring common-sense gun control legislation, at least banning assault weapons.
Why is this important?
Our legislators must take responsible action against the proliferation of guns, specifically AR-15 style assault weapons. It is time for them to put an end to, and to reject, financial support from the NRA.
