The State of Texas should stop selling personal information that it obtains from driver's licenses and other sources.
Why is this important?
DPS records division has sold your name, address, and other personal information to over 2,300 entities, creating more money for the State of Texas. Yet, Federal Law is against selling personal information for any reason; but gave states an option. Texas is one of few states that opted out. We would like for this practice to stop.
