The Assembly has passed a dangerous bill to allow people to carry concealed, loaded guns in almost any public building, including police stations.
The public cannot be safer when weapons are so easily accessible for accidents, those with disagreements, or just deliberate stalking.
When average citizens cannot leave their homes, go shopping, find entertainment, or just go about everyday, normal business because we fear that someone with a sense of paranoia that should necessitate medical help may be armed with a dangerous weapon meant for war or protection at home, that is not right.
Why is this important?
To feel safe in my community and everywhere I must go to go about my daily business, it is essential for our community, our state and our country to be safer. We need to focus on making our lives free of fear.
